Flying out of Edinburgh, this itinerary gives you 6 nights near Masjid al-Haram and 4 nights near Masjid an-Nabawi. You begin in Madinah, then enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah on the way to Makkah.
Both hotels are comfortable 3 star properties within walking distance. In Makkah the walk is usually 10 to 12 minutes, which most healthy adults manage easily for every prayer. Restaurants and shops are close by.
You can travel on most dates outside Ramadan and the Hajj season. Quieter weeks are often cheaper.

Flight to Madinah, direct or with one connection. Wear comfortable clothes, Ihram is not needed yet.

Transfer to your hotel and rest. Pray your first prayer in Masjid an-Nabawi.

Pray in Masjid an-Nabawi and join a guided Ziyarat to Quba Mosque, Uhud and Masjid al-Qiblatayn.

6Enter Ihram and travel to Makkah
Enter Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah (Abyar Ali), then travel to Makkah and perform Umrah after checking in.
